Finally closing....
If you would like to close on your house in a timely manner, I suggest you find another broker. We were first told that we would be able to close by the end of the month, and now, 2 1/2 months later, we have still not closed. If you are looking for someone who will communicate with you and keep you in the loop, again, find another mortgage broker. Carmen would not return our phone calls in a timely matter and would only respond to our emails late at night. Everyday she needed something new. As someone who does this for a living, she should have known upfront exactly what documents, signatures, etc were needed and when. She acted like she had no idea what we we need to get to the bank and when and always seemed surprised when they requested something else. She is nice person, but not very professional or competent in my opionion. I feel like had we gone with a different broker or bank we would be in our house already. Oh well...hopefully we will close soon...
