Poor customer service - great buys/don't sell!
I was a big fan of this establishment until I realized their customer service was very poor. I am impressed with their inventory, but unimpressed with the management and the amount they have to offer for very HIGH dollar items. I sold them a pair of shoes that would cost $150 retail and they gave me $5, I then went back into to see them on the shelf being sold for $50 dollars. I also had an incident where I went in and bought a couple of pants from them. At the same time I brought in a large amount of clothes to sell. Unfortunately I had put my new pants in the bottom of the basket of the clothes I was selling. The manager purchased the pants back from me, with the tags still on them (totally my fault for putting them in the same basket, but I think the honest thing to have done would have been for them to ask me if this was a mistake). In the end, I had to repurchase the same items. It was obvious a mistake had happened but the manager did not even offer me a small discount.

This business is so unprofessional and terrible. My sister and I tried selling our brand name clothing there and they picked very few items. Which is ridiculous because if I took that to Plato's Closet, they would happily take every single item. I even had a 100 dollar homecoming dress from Nordstrom. They did not take that either. For the items they DID want they offered me $14. I should have said no and walked away but I was short on money. They offered my sister $36. Then, they said "We only have $50 left in our register so can we just pay you together?" we were so shocked. We went in there mid-afternoon, probably 2 pm and they had already run out of money for customers. I think it was very conveniant for them to have the exact amount of money the wanted to give us. They were lucky we're sisters otherwise they would have been screwed. The workers were also very rude. Lastly, everything for sale in there is way overpriced! And they do not give you nearly as much money as they should for selling clothing for that expesive merchandise. I will not return there, even to shop! I am sticking to Plato's Closet because they have proven to be the BEST kind of thrift/ selling clothing store. I am seriously dissapointed and highly reccomend to not waste your time going in there.

This is a cool new store at Orchards that pays cash for your clothes. They just opened and have tons of great name brand stuff. I got double the amount in store credit when i sold my things, bought a pair of Miss Mes and still have credit left!
