Consumer Compensated

This is the update of the August 7 review osted by victim1. On August 19, the president of McCluskey Chevrolet has contacted me and has acknowledged my dissatisfaction with my experience. He has agreed to fairly compensate me. McCluskey Chevrolet has acted in good faith to satisfactorily resolve this situation and I no longer feel wronged.

Worst auto repair shop in Cincinnati, unskilled, incompetent mechanics

Avoid McCluskey’s service department at all cost. McCluskey messed up my car’s electrical system, charged me $845.75 for unnecessary work which made the situation worse and failed to diagnose the real problem. Instead of getting service at McCluskey, my car was suf...fering abuse at the hands of unskilled, incompetent mechanics. When I went to McCluskey to complain about the quality of their work and failure to address safety issues, I was subjected to extreme verbal abuse by service manager, Gary Dozier, who said my car was “junk,” a “mechanic’s nightmare” and that I was “crazy” to drive it a long distance. He told me to leave and file a complaint with the BBB if I was unhappy. The cost has been substantial: in addition to the money wasted at McCluskey, I have now paid the other repair shops nearly $1500 to correct McCluskey’s mistakes and fix safety issues they did not detect, and have received an estimate of nearly $2000 additional for complete repairs.

They stink, I could say worst, just read my story

Their sales person on Galbraith wanted wanted to give me $1,000 for my 2004 ford pick up truck, exchanged for a 1998 old vehicle with extremely high miles. They were treating me like I was a stupid blonde, who in fact has two degrees from college. I guess because I am a... girl. Then I went to Kings Auto Mall, they had two sales representatives that wouldn't even phone me back, their upper management said someone would get right on it. Wrong, if you go there looking for a deal, then you are a blonde. Don't be stupid!!! Corporate needs to be notified how this dealership sucks.

Perfected Customer Service

Let me tell you a story! My friend wanted a car, but had no time to 'car shop' & she had asked another 'dealership' in town to help her out; [they will remain nameless & without a sold unit] they told her it might be a month or so till they found what she needed. Well, ...I couldn't have that ;), I wanted her to KNOW & FEEL the McCluskey Touch of excellence :). She sent me car yr, price, color, mileage & what she wanted to spend, then I sent to Keith McCluskey, he gave the info to Dan Hoffman [I highly recommend him!] This whole search for the car & delivery of said car, took 3 days from thought to buy on Weds 5/25 to a 5/28 delivery of car. Needless too say, she is extremely happy with the excellent customer service provided to her by McCluskey Chevrolet staff! Want the same experience, go see Dan Hoffman at McCluskey Chevrolet!!!

I bought a car from McCluskey

I bought a used car from McCluskey in January. I also bought the extended warranty after being told they would fix anything that went wrong with the car during the 24 month/24,000 mile tiem period. In March the car broke down and now they want $560.00 to fix it! I would give them 0 stars if that was an option!
