Painting TipA great paint job starts wih the right materials and prep work. We recommend the Sherwin Williams poly/wool blend roller naps for paint applications. With proper cleanup and care, this roller cover (nap) can last a long time and well exceed the initial investment value.
Before rolling any paint with a new nap, apply masking tape all around the nap and remove. Repeat this process a few times and then you are ready to paint fuzz free!

When painting over new drywall, always use a good primer before the application of your selected finish paint.
We recommend Sherwin Williams Drywall Primer for all new installations and for all patch work of drywall. For bright or dark colors- always tint your primer to the color of the paint you will be using for maximum coverage and superior results.
Using a quality product is an extremely important part of the process. While you can find "cheaper" primers and paints- more of the product is usually needed to achieve a uniform finish. This translates into more work, time and money being spent than is necessary.
