We LOVE John Caraker! If you're looking for a lawyers that is no bull, easy to understand, who takes the time to give you the straight talk about what you're getting into, Caraker is the man for you. He was for us! At no point did we see him check his watch for the next appointment, or 'check the meter' to try to charge us more. In the end, most bankruptcy attorneys are roughly the same cost, but Caraker gives it to your straight from the beginning - no hidden costs, no last minute surprises. Also - he seems to actually GET that you're broke! I'm amazed how many bankruptcy attorneys just don't understand that we don't have a lot of money! He never acted judge-y about our past bad decisions, and he made us feel at ease with the whole process, which is saying a lot for such a stressful thing.
