I purchased silver and gold US coins from Investment Rarities in the 1980's, over a 5 year period, so I did not make purchases all at once, and avoided short term price spikes. As of 2011 to 2012, even with record metal prices, all the coins would be sold at a loss. I...nvestment rarities slabbed coins back in the 1980's ( copying NGC and PCGS) and when I resubmitted coins to NGC and PCGS, all the coins purchased from Investment Rarities were overgraded, and way way overpriced!
