Avoid this course in 2010 - Fairways are all Dirt
I have played this course before and loved it - but not this time. On April 30th 2010, the course was in terrible shape - all dirt fairways. No grass, and this is unacceptable for this course. If I was paying $20 at a public course, I might understand but not here at... the Duke course. I was so disappointed. And there was no sign of work being done to grow some grass. Therefore, wait until 2011 before you try this course. Ugh - so disappointed.
Best Hidden Jewel in the Triangle
Duke is the best hidden jewel in the Triangle. Good varity of holes. The course is in beautiful shape regardless of the time of year that you play.
