Dai Tung - Mission is the absolute best in Chinese Cuisine. I travel from Weslaco to Mission because no other Chinese restaurant compares. The Owner is a Lovely Lady who has always been professional and courteous....

I ordered 3 lunches. Someone picked it up and brought it back. It was the wrong food! (which was charged at a higher price than the food I ordered) I called and explained to the manager that they had sent the wrong food. He said I had ordered it wrong. I told him that HE was the one who took my order and HE got it wrong. I order the same thing every time. He said that the food there is only 6.25 and that it was a good deal. I told him it may be a good deal but it is NOT what I ordered. He was very rude!! I asked to speak to the owner. He said the owner wasn't there and wouldn't give me his name or number. He said, "bring that food back and i will give you your money" and hung up on me. I tried to call back several times, but he evidently left the phone off the hook. I don't know who the owner is, but he needs to do something. People are tired of this man! This is the second time he has hung up on me, both times is when they made a mistake on my takeout order. I am thru with this place!

I will never go there again. The Dai Tung in Mcallen was better but I moved closer to this one. Visiting 4 times in the past year the food has WAY to much msg (as by the diarrhea that quickly follows after digesting it) . What bothers me the most is the most terrible service anywhere in the restuarant business as shown by the owner/manager and what appeared to be his wife. Each time I phoned for take-out I was told it was ready in "10 minutes". Of course you would show up but really do not get it for 30 minutes. They probably lie just to get the customers there, after all PF Changs is only 5 minutes away. After my last visit of waiting for what seemed to be forever, my food arrived and I was trying to give him the credit card but he decided to pick up the phone and take another call for another take-out order, AND while his wife just looked at me, picked up her cell phone and walked out the door. Hire some staff to answer phones cheapstake and you might keep your customer.
