Crucial Data Recovery

When my personal hard drive crashed, of course it wasn't backed up. We had fifteen years' worth of family photos stored on that drive. I had a 2.0TB Western Digital MyBook drive fail. It held all the family data across the home network for 8 years. When it failed Western Digital claimed it was out of warranty and quoted astronomical prices to recover the data. It took 3 days from submitting the request to packaging the drive and mailing it to Crucial Data Recovery to receive a response from Alex on the state of the drive. I expected it would require invasive clean room repair so was not surprised to hear the cost. Once I authorized the work to be performed Alex was providing hourly updates as to the progress. Once Alex confirmed the data was successfully recovered and moved to a new USB hard drive it was shipped to my house in 2 days.
