Harrell has over 10 years of experience in the fashion industry, beginning her career as a fashion stylist before opening Controversy Boutique just 5 years ago. Since that time, Controversy has become an anchor of the famous Auburn Avenue district serving not just fashion, but acting as an agency for some of the industry’s hottest styling stars. Harrell’s Controversy Boutique doubles as a stylist agency, housing talent that has worked with T.I., Pharell Williams and Janelle Monet, just to name a few. Party and need an outfit
Hey, I am going to a party this Saturday and I need an outfit its a birthday party so I dont want to be the center of attention but I still want to stand out. I need an outfit and was wondering if you could put something together, like some cute jeans with something. I am coming in tmro or maybe sometime tonight.

OMG... My family owns the Atruim on Sweet Auburn and let me tell you, people come in and out of the liltle spaces available out side the building, and you have to by far most my favorite person to own one of the spaces. I love Controversy and I think the style is me. I love it so much that my grandmother Mrs. Perkins; is going to take me summer shopping and my first place on my list is Controversy. I am going to be able to go to school in August with a great style. People will be asking left to right " Girl where did you get that outfit from ?" And I will b able 2 say Controversy. Luv ya

This wonderful littel boutique nestled right in the heart of Sweet Auburn Avenue in Atlanta was a pleasure to visit. The owner is a beautiful young woman with a spirit as sweet as Auburn itself. This is not a tourist attraction, but it was very attractive to this tourist from Texas.
I wish the shop was a little larger....it would give me more room to shop. Girls fromTexas need more space! Keep up the great work on Auburn.
