CRI/A Pevious Employee~Christy Ford~5 Stars!
I worked for this company from 1992-1994,until I had a very serious car accident in which my Nissan Pulsar W/ sunroof, overturned.I was not able to work for A few years after that, and in 1996 was required to move quite a distance from Peoria, via my late husbands job locatiin transfer.I wirked for Jim Newman and his assistant Karin Newman.Jim was a good man.He genuinely cared about his employees. If he suspected something was bothering one of them or just having a rough time that particular day,he took the time to talk to them.He was wise enough to know that weather anyone intends on "not letting something affect their job performance" that irregardless of their good intentions, for some still does. That being said,it wasn't just the money that went into the company's pocket, but theirs too.He was a very warm and caring employer who also had a great sense of humor. He always did his best to keep the work environment positive and never failed to give praise to those who worked hard and put all their efforts forward. He had a way of making everyone feel proud of their jobs, their abilities, and helping those who were "shy" to speak on the phone with strangers.Karen was great assistant.Funny and vibrant. She always brought a lightness to the work environment, laughing, joking, etc. Both Karen and Jim were excellent at making people feel comfortable about themselves, and motivated others to better themselves and their work everyday. It's been a number of years and I'm sure a lot has changed. From what I've heard Jim passed away some time ago,Karen no longer works there, and Brian now owns the Company but,as I said, these things I am not 100% sure about because I did not find out about about first hand,or read about these things for myself.I only heard about them.My experience with this company overall,as an employee, was great.I do hope that not too much has changed and the current owner and or supervisor of the sales room, had a chance to gain some knowledge and exoerience from Jim.He had great social/people skills, worked so well with others, and was always encouraging to his sales people.
