CompuRecovery had an office in California when I first sent them my hard drive. They were very quick and responsive. I had email replies within 2 minutes of sending them questions. Very cool. You don't see that often anymore.
Anyway, my data had already been around the state to other companies who wanted WAY too much. I sent it to these guys, they were careful with my already opened, possibly corrupt drive, and still managed to pull my family photos and much needed tax info from the drive.
thanks again and I am now backing up everything, but if i ever need help i'll call you guys.
