Horrible!

One star is very kind! Only because there is no zero star option! First appointment of the day still had an hour wait. Dentist who saw my daughter hurt her mouth more. She was there for tooth pain which they did nothing for the pain. I saw them give a girl her xrays wi...thout an envelope or folder, and when she asked if they should be in a folder, the lady ignored her and asked the other lady "Does she "needz "to pay for these?" They gave me a huge estimate of a procedure that must be done that supposedly my insurance doesn't cover. I will know more as I am having a real dentist give me a second opinion! Already complained to insurance company!

Terrible Experience

On my first appointment, they left me sitting in the waiting room for well over an hour. Then they took me to the x-ray room, where I sat for awhile longer. They then came and told me that their computers were down and they had to wait for them to come back up before ...they could begin my appointment. Close to 2 hours later, they admitted that the computers may not be coming back up and offered me the option to reschedule. I rescheduled for a couple of months later, and was called the morning of my appointment. They told me that it was a "courtesy call" to let me know that my appt was cancelled because I failed to confirm it. They wanted me to reschedule! At this point, I advised them that I work for a living, and had to schedule time off for both of these appointments. I told them to shred my "new patient registration" forms that I had filled out, as I would never come back. They told me to call back if I change my mind and I assured them that this will never happen. Run!!

Used Car Sales Enviroment!

If you enjoy dealing with used car salesmen, watching old re-runs of the Three Stooges, and being frustrated to no end, then Coast Dental is the place for you! On my initial visit, they were short on techs and one of the dentists actually had to do my x-rays. You would... think that they taught them in school that cleanliness is next to Godliness but not so. She removed a double hand-full of wing-bites from a drawer without using gloves and then counted them from one hand to the other before ultimately laying them on top of a cabinet and then in my MOUTH! She then began the x-rays. Between shots, she adjusted the uncovered x-ray arm. I finally asked, "shouldn't that arm be covered?" She said, "Oh, we clean it between patients." I hate to be a skeptic, but based on the overall condition of the office, I doubt that. I was then placed in a room where I could hear the conversations of all the other patients down the hall because of the no privacy environment, for the next hour or so....

HORRIBLE to the 3rd degree

I had an appointment with this office which took 2 months to book! Upon my arrival, I greeted the desk clerk whose response was a blank stare. I shrugged my shoulders and proceeded to wait to be called. I was called 10 minutes later and was told that my appointment had ...been cancelled because I failed to call them to reserve my appointment since I’m a new client. I asked the young woman “How was I to know to call the office if I haven’t spoken to anyone since I scheduled my appointment?” Her response was blank “I don’t know, I was not the one who scheduled you.” At this point, I was still calm. I reminded her that the dental office usually calls the customer to confirm the appointment. Her response “well, we can reschedule you for next month.” Are you kidding me were the words I wanted to say, but I simply walked out. I called the office manager- no help at all. This is the worst dental office I’ve ever been to.

Find another dentist

I strongly recommend that you seek your dental care from another provider and even office. I was forced to wait an extraordinary amount of time upon each visit. When I questioned the hygienist concerning her work and the level of care I was receiving, the office manag...er ordered me to leave the office and Dr. Potter has refused to address my concerns despite multiple requests.
