About Clayworks Studio Gallery
Our small custom ceramics studio specializes in tile house numbers and clay sconces, all made by hand and fired in our studio. The Clayworks Gallery, just east of downtown Austin, is stocked with the studio’s own Critter Line of Texas animal tiles and other works of clay. Established in 1978, we are also known for tile murals, historic tile restoration and largescale seals and signage.

amazing work
We had been looking for address numbers for our home and were about to give up and just go with some online tack, when I walked into Clayworks on East 6th and found the nicest people with an amazing selection. The coolest thing is they make everything right there. I got to tour the shop and gallery and now have my sights on a sconse for our porch. Hooray for another cool place in downtown Austin!
