City of Irving Library System

I have been to libraries all over Irving and this one is by far the best! You can order your coffee in the library and choose a quiet, single person, sitting room to read it in. It is always hopping but still quiet. The programs for kids also rock! The staff is courteous even when I forget my card and the books are on the shelf in the right right order. Anyone who has had to rummage through the main library would agree that this one is the most organized library in the city!!!

The library is loud, not because of kids, but the staff. They are always on the phone and there conversations of lost checks and it being in the mail is neither concerning to me or my buisness. Staff very unprofessional, and lacking in the skills required to even issue a library card. The young lady with long hair up front issuing library cards is rude and cant figure out how to even issue a card without calling for help multiple times. Sad to see kids in this place and trying to set an example.
