The Chinese Shaolin Center Marietta opened its doors in August of 1993. The Chinese Shaolin Center Marietta is owned and operated by 5th degree Associate Master Michael Reid, the ranking student of the Atlanta area Chinese Shaolin Centers. The Center features two training areas that are equipped with raised impact-resistant training floors. The training atmosphere reflects the students of the Center: friendly and energetic, yet serious about martial arts growth and development.
Master Reid and instructors of the Chinese Shaolin Center-Marietta work daily to provide an atmosphere in the Center's adult Kung Fu and Internal Arts program and the Youth Kung Fu program that encourages students to look inside of themselves and find new levels of achievement. Master Reid personally gives Tai Chi and Kung Fu workshops in many locations throughout Cobb county.

Even the hq is not great
I never knew this schools has more than one location...My friend took me to one in highlands area before and it is really bad.\t\n\t\nI am from China and I have seen these real shaolin kongfu before...and this is NOT it! It looks not even like the chinese marshal arts at all. \t\n\t\nThese fellows wear the tai kwong do outfits in barefoot and do strange movements that is not reall chinese kongfu.\t\n\t\nI wrote a review on the highlands location and then these ad came up. I am so surprised that they have so many school and yet they tricks the public!\t\n\t\n
Real Martial Arts, not a Karate Factory
I've been attending CSC Marietta for 1.5 years and have really been enjoying getting in great shape, learning "Old School" Kung Fu & Tai Chi, and becoming friends with other students at the school.\t\n\t\nThis is a true "community" of caring, hardworking/training Martial Artists led by Master Reid.\t\nFrom White Belt to Black...it's a great all around school.\t\nI'm glad to be a part of CSC!\t\n\t\nThis was one fo the best life choices that I've ever made to date, and I'll continue to go here and study Kung Fu and Tai Chi for years to come......Kee-yah!\t\n
A great place to learn and grow
As a physician and former enlisted man in the military, I have experienced many different types of instruction and learned from many different types of instructors. I can honestly say some of the best are at this school!\t\nThis school has a seemingly "magical " means of attracting people who are not only dedicated to growing themselves as martial artist but instructing others in the martial arts. I am truly amazed at how many people from so many different backgrounds can be such good instructors.\t\nThis school can accomodate and challenge people with any level of fitness. The curriculum is comprehenesive enough to keep you learning for life!
