About CHOICES Pet Sitters

BONDED - INSURED

Safe, worry-free pet care is best left to the experts... someone who makes caring for pets their professional career focus, not someone looking to collect a buck or two "on the side." Choices Pet Sitters (licensed in Pickens County) has been that career-focused pet provider providing respectful, discrete, and personalized drop-in pet care to discerning families in Pickens and North Cherokee counties since 2005!

Our focus is on quality care and attention to detail. This includes cleanliness in your pet's feeding and living areas, a quick check of litter box health, food consumption habits, and general behavior characteristics. We want to make your pets as safe and comfortable as possible so we take the time to get to know each pet individually.

The value-added service we provide comes with a Manager who has ongoing years of professional membership in many industry-specific Pet Associations as well as continuing education and multiple certifications. This experience and training make us the most educated pet care provider group in North Georgia. Even with these credentials, our pet care rates are comparable to those inexperienced pet sitters who try to compete with less training and no liability insurance. Our pet care services respect each stage of life with an appropriate care plan that reduces the pet's fear, anxiety, and stress that can appear when you depart.

Our Manager is a:

-- Fear Free® Level 3 Certified Professional (1 of 313 around the world!) --

Choices Pet Sitters - Simply the Best

I can't say enough good about these folks. They go the extra mile - always - to take care of me and my animals. I have three cats and two dogs, so it could be a handful, but Choices folks take it all in stride. I love getting photos of my crew every night while I am away so I can go to bed with a smile on my face, knowing they are well cared for. Reasonable prices and excellent above-and-beyond service.

The very best

Choice Pet Sitters has taken care of my two beloved pets on many occasions. The entire staff has a definite knack for taking care of and interacting with four leggeds of all varieties. My two dogs are precious to me, but when they're in the care of Choice Pet Sitters, I have complete confidence that they're going to be loved and impeccably attended to. I love the way they leaves me extensive notes, scrupulously documenting the details of their visits and the behavior and state of my pets. I can best sum it up this way: they take care of and attend to my pets as well as I would. And my dogs are nothing short of adoring toward every member of their staff who has cared for them. They are so responsible and attentive that once, when I forgot to call and let them know that I'd arrived home, they called me, another reflection of their commitment to putting pets' needs first. I recommend them whole heartedly and without the slightest reservation or criticism.

Wonderful service!

We can't say enough good things about Choices In-Home Pet Sitters. Linda always goes the extra mile. MUCH more than we expected from in-home pet sitting services. It's a great comfort to know our little ones are safe and in such good hands with someone who really seems to care for animals.

The aftermath of the Jan 9, 2011 snow

Well... the snow is finally melting here in North Georgia. What remains now are some white patches on grassy areas and huge snow creations made by the snow plows earlier in the week. You can see these "blobs" here and there...  in and beside the streets as you go through different areas. While they are not as clean and neat as the man made snowmen and other snow creations we've seen, they are a vivid reminder of how Metro Atlanta and those towns north on Hwy 515 and Georgia 400 were shut... Snow - Day 5

What used to be powdery snow, today is starting to have a different appearance. On many surfaces in Pickens County the sun, streetlights, and the glow of headlights make the snow look like the ice of an outdoor staking rink. It can be beautiful , if not glaring to the eyes during the sunlight of the day. it is certainly a big change for Georgia, as we have not seen this level of snowfall in many years.    Many surfaces are now cleared of much of the snow, but several sitters have ju... North Georgia Snow - Day Three coming to a close

Well, it was STILL snowing most of the day today. A light flurry of snow floating through the bustling air this morning started to coat the roads scraped by road crews yesterday, but it didn't stick long.  Many residents are still snowed in. Parts of Bent Tree, Big Canoe, Talking Rock Creek Properties, and other higher elevation areas are stuck... at least until the temperatures warm up. They are forecasting that Friday and Saturday we may get the warm up we need to finally melt the ice,... READ MORE Posted January 12, 2011 at 08:40 PM
