Disappointment at Big Island Jewelers
My husband and I recently visited the Big Island of Hawaii celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary. We had a great visit and purchased a bracelet from Big island Jewelers in Kailua Kona.We were told and received a sales slip that it was .66 TCW S/3 I and the price was ...$579.16, including tax. After returning home, I took it to my local jewelers to get the lobster claw switched to something easier for me to manage due to arthritis in my hands and was told the type hook I wanted was approximately $50.00 and the bracelet was not worth spending that much since it was only sterling silver and cubic zirconia. This was a great disappointment and I would like to warn anyone making purchases at this store to be very careful. However, after contacting the jeweler at Big Island Jewelers he did agree to refund the full purchase price to me after returning the bracelet at my expense. Barbara Burkett
