Would give them no stars if that was possible.

Would give them no stars if I could. Poor communication after contract signed. Never knew when anyone would be on sight unless you hounded your salesman. Had we not had someone at home everyday to watch what was being done our pool would not have been done as promised. They did fix our pool steps that they did not do correctly, but only after having to prove that by just spraying their gemstone over crappy concrete work would not solve our problem. This was after the gentleman who does the gemstone refused to spray his product over steps that were still wet and breaking apart. We went with gemstone product after talking with several people who hated their plaster pools because it is suppose to be a better product. Well, it's not. Coverage is inconsistent and cost is greater. We have a blue strip around the whole inside of our pool and around steps and benches. Basically, told by field manager and owner, that we should be happy with our pool and it's beautiful. They have pools that look worse than ours. Really? After, still complaining that we aren't happy with end result all they wanted was their final check. Went to make final payment and tried to talk with owner he was short and dismissive. All he could say was he does $400,000 pools and doesn't understand why my $40,000 was such a problem. My response was I guess maybe we just expected too much. I guess my small pool doesn't meet the same quality workmanship an expensive pool does. Paid my invoice and went out to car. In group text HIS employees sent accused him of running to check to bank to cash it bc all they are interested in was your money. Well, I stand corrected by the owner knocking on my window with my check in hand stating that he didn't need to run to bank he could run it through his machine at his office. Good for him! He was quickly angered and proceeded to yell at me call me WHITE TRASH and a $35000 MILLIONAIRE. While trying to finish text he threatened to call police and have me removed. Asked if I could at least put my seat belt on and he said no I dialing police now. As I drove off he was still yelling and calling me WHITE TRASH. My only response to him was CLASSY! Then upon sitting across the street talking to my husband here come 2 Jenk police officer. After short conversation they thanked me for not texting or talking on the phone and driving.
Owner is a bully and hires people just like him. I guess he wins though bc I'm still not happy with my pool and he has cashed the check and moved on to another poor consumer.

I have used Baker Pools for service on my pool for the four three years, and over the last year I have found the service level to have declined significantly. Poor communication, poor service, lack of accountability. AVOID!

Laughing all the way to the bank

Not even 1 week after the deck was poured it cracked! Apparently we didn’t read the contract well enough to see that “cracking concrete is not covered”. Commented on final turn-over sheet on items that we were told would be fixed by Baker Pools employees or contractors only to be told by the owner that, “that’s on you we won’t do that.” Haven’t had a good rain yet, but our pool sits higher than our house, with the deck slanted toward our house and a small drain to avert it. Bad service from the start with them. Was never asked what style of pool we liked, just shown a design we initially said okay to. Then the next day notified them that isn’t what we like. Charged an additional $2,400. for the change. Overall we spent over $53,000.00 on a pool and the deck. And we now have to do the downspout tie in ourselves. And live with a cracked deck. My husband talked to the (voice identified himself) owner, who was extremely rude and confrontational.
