Anne Arundel County Elementary School

- there are over 600 kids in the school
- the kids get only 15 minutes of "recess"
- my child eats lunch at 10:00 a.m.
- there is hardly anything available for "gifted" students
- faculty is almost entirely new ... every year
- kids do not have classrooms. classes are held in supersized cubicles
- there are two aides for 6 kindergarden classes of over 20 students in each
- kids reporting issues is often ignored by teachers (overwhelmed) and administrators (uninvolved).
- my child raises his hand and waits patiently to be called on, but never is. Other kids act out to get attention and are rewarded.
- other schools less than 3 miles away are way better
