Angelus Day Spa and Salon

I wrote a negative review in Dec about this place. I called them out on their cleanliness. They have since changed their business practices to be more sanitary. I now feel safe going there. I would recommend trying them. This site doesn't allow you to remove a negative review. This review is my retraction.

While the gal who provided my service was lovely the salon was not so. At first glance it looks pretty but a closer inspection shows the dirt. The towel my hands rested on was full of long black hairs. The file used looked like a it had seen 20-30 hands. The nail clipper and cuticle cutter were rusty. It looked like they reused the wooden stick and you can't sanitize wood. All the instruments were soaked in sanitizer but the container they were soaked in was so small that after using it all day I don't think it could clean anything anymore. The footbath tueven though she poured sanitizer in it there was still a ring in it and the outside edges of the tub outside it were dirty. I am a bit afraid I may get an infection. Or a fungus. When you call your place a spa it ups the ante of what customers expect. This place didn't cut the mustard in my opinion.
