Abaco Takes the CARE Out of Healthcare!
HORRIBLE FACILITY!!!! Direct care staff are incompetent & lazy to say the least! They refuse to assume responsibility for their own "mistakes" & often just flat out ignore issues all together, even when those issues are repeatedly brought to their attention. "I didn't know" is their favorite phrase & is constantly uttered even when specific instructions are posted plain as day in the room!
They (obviously) fail miserably to communicate effectively both amongst each other & with family members when it comes to changes in care plans of their residents!
Their staff doesn't even follow state guidelines for care including (but not limited to) practicing Standard Precautions or providing complete & accurate documentation.
When faced with complaints they become very defensive & argumentative, talking to you as if you're making things up!
In short, I would NOT recommend this facility to my worst enemy & am amazed that they have only changed their name, and not been shut down completely!
