I also have a cleaning business in San Diego California. I also run into the same thing . I have had 3 clients go to Italy this year. What I do is I start asking about planed vactions 3 to 4 months before the summer comes so I can figuire out what my availability is for the summer . When I get new client calls I fill them in the spots that are availble and let them know I am only available for certain time or they can end up one of your regulars in the future. Another good idea is you deep clean , I have businesses that I deep clean every 6 months. It lland rigth in the summer. Deep Cleaning is all the extras you can think of windows blinds cob webs wiping all walls tracks on windows cleanig out someones frig or kitchen cabinets I charge extra because it take longer to do and it makes up the differance.
