I will no longer return to this location because of cashier, Kyle.
I am 36 years old and asked for a pack of cigarettes.
He did not id me, but asked instead if I wanted the 3-pack special.
I told him, no, I was buying them for my roommate.
He then took it upon himself to 'advise' me. He said to me as he began to shake, 'I wouldn't say that if I was you. You could be buying them for a minor'. Is this his business? Can he prove this? My roommate is 24 years old.
I then told him that the cigarettes were for me, as to discontinue the confrontation. He said 'I'm just trying to help you dude'. I told him that I recongnized this and was trying to take his advice. Now he's literally angry at me.
As I leave the store, he glares out the window at me as he's on the phone, implying he's calling on me? What?
I will not return to this store, despite it only 2 blocks from my house. I will go out of my way to do business with another store, thanks to Kyle.
