Excellent Lebanese & Mediterranian Food in Bayridge

Nicely decorated, very clean and cozy atmosphere. Staff was very friendly and efficient and the owner was taking personal interest in all the guests.
Well, the best thing....food was excellent, portion size was large and presentation was great. We went there for our anniversary dinner and driving all the way from Nassau County was really worth it. I am happy to discover my new favorite place in Brooklyn.
Le Sajj is highly recommended to those who like good food in a lovely atmosphere. And yeah, tell them that Commissioner Abid recomended this excellent restaurant to you.

Outstanding food, service, entertainment. Friendly, happy atmosphere.

My mother's ancestry is Lebanese. So this was a special experience for her. All the food she remembered from her childhood, and then some, were available here. We ordered the pre-fixe, and I took enough leftovers home for 2 days of lunch and dinner! There were soooo many dishes included, that I couldn't name one that stood out particularly - because it was all marvelous. We went to dinner late enough to enjoy the belly dancer and singer. I've seen belly dancers before, at family parties where they hire a dancer to entertain. The dancer here was above all the rest. Her dancing was tasteful, energetic, and she was of course, beautiful. If you do plan to order the pre-fixe dinner, though, I do recommend you not eat for 6 hours before, because it's a lot! Just when I thought they'd served all the meal, then my main course arrived. On a weeknight you can usually find the owner, whom I believe is also the head chef, outside the restaurant greeting guests, or speaking to passersby who are his patrons and are so happy to see him. I'm happy to see someone who has fed me so well, too. I thought it was a real value for the meal. Again, it's not just quantity. It's also quality. I look forward to returning with more of my Lebanese-heritage family members, as well as non-Lebanese. This is enjoyable for everyone.
