La Mezzaluna Cafe

La Mezzaluna Cafe is as close to "authentic" Italian as you can get in West Virginia!! Family style is becoming un heard of in restaurants these days....not at Mezzaluna! Salad and those "to die for" garlic knots are served repeatly with a smiling server! My family have celebrated "special " occassions there repeatedly...since 2006 and this remains our "fav"! Prices/reasonable for excellant quality!

Although I'd like to say something awful about this place, it would only be a self serving attempt to make it easier to get seated. There aren't 10 restaurants anywhere that I would stand in line to eat at and this place is close to top of the list of the places that I would wait on line to be seated. Friendly wait staff, FANTASTIC food and very reasonable prices. I come as often as I can and wish it were more often.

I LOVE this cafe. Tucked away in a strip mall, so can be a bit hard to find. The sign on the building simply reads "Cafe". The food is absolutely worth the trip from anywhere in the Baltimore, DC, Hagerstown, N. VA area. The food is unbelievable and the staff is always very friendly. The garlic knots are terrific, the salad is delicious and the entrees are reasonably priced and first class! Not your typical Italian fare. Many very unique menu items to choose from.
