Yen Wor Village

I've ordered a number of times from Yen Wor - not because they serve good food (far from it), but because they're the only Chinese delivery I'm aware of in my area of West Seattle. I have now waited for two hours to get the sweet and sour sauce for the pork we ordered. I'm giving up after talking with them twice over the phone. I should have gone to Safeway and saved myself $30 - the food is of the same quality, anyway.

I've had the food and have nothing good to say about it. It's terrible. And will most likely make you sick. Please listen to this review and the others that give this advice. Really really really really bad food. \t\n\t\nThe bar is fun. If you go with friends to get tipsy and sing karaoke, it can be a blast. Sometimes it is overly crowded. The cocktail waitress and the bartender don't tend to communicate real well, so you tab can get all messed up, but that's the only hang up in the bar. The lady that does the karaoke is really talented, nice and funny as a Host. It's a dive bar, so don't expect class or elegance.

I can only say that we will NEVER eat at this restaurant again. Our food took 2 hours to be delivered after being quoted 40-60 minutes. When we called to check the status after a little more than an hour we were told it was coming. The second time we called to complain after an hour and half we asked for a discount and were told no and that our food was coming. At two hours we called again and the manager was curt, and said she would check her caller ID to verify whether or not we were telling the truth. She called back 15 minutes later, was rude and argumentative and told us we had only place our order an hour before. The food was fair, but it is obvious this restaurant does not know anything about customer service. Beware.
