Washington County Jail

My husband is in the Washington Co. Jail. He happens to have medical problems that the jail is aware of. He was taken to the hospital yesterday around 4pm. I was never notified by the jail and today not one person can seem to tell me anything. I found out from another inmate that he had been taken to the hospital. The jail has all contact numbers for his family and still have not bothered to call and let anyone know what is happening to him health wise. When I call all I am told is that someone is at lunch, they aren't allowed to tell me anything or that they don't know anything. A few years ago, my husband was in this jail. He almost died there because of lack of medical treatment in a timely manner. As with most places there are good and bad people working there. To the good people that do work there, I thank you for all you do and for treating people like human beings. To the others that do not. The ones that treat inmates like less than animals, I pray that one day your foul treatment of others comes back to you ten fold.
