Always had good expieriences

The first review is totally out of character for the owner, maybe she was having a bad week or something. I have been taking my clothes and son's clothes to her for over a year now and I have never had any issues. She will usually ask if I need the clothes immediately but I can always play around with a few days, so I've had a turn around of about 2-3 days. Most of the time I get hemming of jeans and slacks, ocassionaly I've needed some sweater tears fixed up and she does a very good job. It would be nice if she accepted debit cards but she was always upfront saying she took cash only. Anyway, sorry to hear you had a bad expierience with her. I don't feel it would be the norm though, her quality of work has always been good and she is friendly when I've dealt with her. I witness her interaction with other clients that have been there at the same times I have and its always been positive...

It's really come to this...

This is an honest review so please take heed. I always support local & small businesses so this is "out of the ordinary" to discourage anyone from doing so. The customer service is horrible, your clothing wont be ready on time they don't offer a price reduction for the inconvenience not even an apology! I took a coat for a simple seam repair in the underarm on a Fri. & pick up the following Fri. I went to pick up m coat Sat & it still hadn't even been touched! Finally it was fixed & when I tried to pay (debit card) the woman tells me they only accept cash. I couldve gotten cash when I left the 1st time it wasnt ready & there is no sign posted for cash only.I had to walk to an ATM, pay a fee & the woman followed me yelling I owe her money & stole a coat! I have never been so embarrassed in my life. I got publicly humiliated, no apology no nothing! I'm a very loyal patron & a petite so I frequently have to alter clothes. She seriously lost a lot of business w/ me.
