About Uchee Pines Institute

A non-profit wellness center based in Seale, Alabama, the Uchee Pines Institute provides high-quality wellness education to people who wish to improve their health by making positive lifestyle changes. Pursuant to its mission, the facility offers attendees a wide range of resources on issues such as vegetarian nutrition, hydrotherapy, exercise, and spiritual healing strategies. Further, the Uchee Pines Institute conducts biennial seminars in preventive medicine and natural remedies. Occasionally, the establishment also hosts seminars on topics ranging from agriculture to mental health.

Complementing the above, Uchee Pines operates a Lifestyle Center with 20 rooms in all, 14 of which are set aside for guests who prefer a private room during their visit. Each room comes outfitted with a Sleep Number queen-sized bed to maximize comfort. While staying at the Lifestyle Center, guests, many of which are impacted by chronic conditions such as diabetes and heart disease, participate in personalized lifestyle education under the supervision of a qualified doctor.

A provider active in its wider community, the institute belongs to Adventist-laymen’s Services and Industries and Outpost Centers International.
