I first came into Rubino's a few years
I first came into Rubino's a few years ago after a few friends that work at Guitar Center were telling me about how they were posting bad reviews on local shops on different sites to raise their business. They were completely wrong.\t\n\t\nJim is one of the nicest people you have ever met and will take the time to give you knowledge on whatever you want to know just so that you will walk away more informed. If you don't believe it, research what they tell you for yourself and you will find out yourself. Every experience I have had with the local Guitar Center has been terrible. The service stinks, and the staff are young high school kids that they hire to get their friends to come there. But like what happened to my friends, they screw them over on income and fire them after their friends stop coming.\t\n\t\nRubino's is more than a music store. They're their for you for repairs, if your bands good, Jim will give you gigs. I have gone to school for music and have since been a working musician with Rubino's being with me all the way.\t\n\t\nIf you want to go somewhere where professionals work and professionals go to buy stuff, go to Rubino's. If you want to go to an off the rack store that isn't as knowledgeable, go to a big box store.

An honest review, by a real customer...
I first discovered Rubinos about 2 years ago when my son started playing guitar. Last year at Christmas, I purchased the DBZ Bird of Prey for my son. This guitar has a Floyd Rose original trem, being a newbie to the Floyd Rose, my son needed much instruction in stringing/tuning this guitar. Steve was such a help, he patiently showed my son exactly how to restring and tune this guitar...and let me tell you, it is a project! As my son's need soon required, we were recommended buying the Eddie Van Halen drop D tuna so that we could easily switch from E standard to D...upon recieving this order, Steve was once again happy to make the adjustments necessary to fit this device to the guitar. In all of our trips to Rubino's, we are greeted by Mr and Mrs Rubino with a hug! The staff has always been extremely friendly and helpful. They truely care about their customers! \t\n If you are looking for a store that knows and sells top quality merchandise, has excellent customer service and stands behind their product this is the place to be! \t\n
