Rainbow Bend Fishing Resort

My husband, son, and two grandchildren stayed at Rainbow Bend for a week in July. We had liked the sound of the amenities package with a free American breakfast every morning along with boston whalers for 4 hours a day as well as paddle boats and sea kayaks. The regular rooms are "salty"-- no frills but have all the essentialls. We had a kitchen and two bedrooms and two baths. They were clean. The kids were a little disappointed at first but soon adapted to the fun of finding so many new things along the beach and in the water. It was peaceful, relaxing and the food at the Hide Away Cafe upstairs was wonderful as was the service there! Again, the restaurant decor is salty--it sits on an ocean where the rooms and the structures get pounded by hurricanes so upkeep is a challenge but the basics were well in place for us. And there was a rainbow three out of the five evenings we were there. We dealt with nice people there and its proximity to anything you want to go,do or see can't be beat
