Portneuf Medical Center

I was admitted to PMC with a chief complaint nausea and vomiting. I had recently had surgery and the "medical" staff at the hospital was convinced that I had an infection that had turned septic due to the pins and screws that had been installed during my surgery. After two days in Intensive care ( staffed with temp nurses to make up for the mass layoffs and resignations), it was determined that I should be transferred to U of U Medical Center in Salt lake City. Upon my arrival there at about 4AM, I was greeted by the floor nurse with the comment "What did the aid station transfer to us now?" Result, after a resident came in and took a fluid sample from the suspect joint was this,...severe case of food poisoning. So Pocatellos brightest and best couldn't determine this? No thanks....I learned my $6500 lesson. Next time go north to Bingham, south to Salt lake or call it a day and go to the funeral home. Portneuf is not an option for me.
