I purchased a car from Platte Valley Auto Sales not too long ago. First of all, I was told that the brake pads and rotors were new, when they most certainly were not by any means. And, it doesn't end there unfortunately... I also had problems with my heat/air conditioning. I had taken my car back and they had supposedly fixed the problem, but within 2 months I had the same problem. So, I paid for a NEW actuator to be installed, which they did and told me that my heat and air conditioning would be fine from there on out. Well, it wasn't and I just recently found out that the NEW actuator that I had paid Platte Valley Auto to install wasn't new at all and had been a USED one. They also, hadn't even re-installed the used actuator correctly either. Four bolts were not only missing from the actuator itself, but there were also three bolts missing from the underside of my dashboard. So, with all of this said, I seriously hope that if you reconsider purchasing vehicles from Platte Valley Auto

I had tires put on my car and they were very down to earth when I called. The lady who answered the phone seemed to know alot about tires, recommended not just the highest priced, but what was good for my lifestyle. It was actually refreshing to deal with them. There still are good people out there.

I would like to repond to the owner of the 98 Jeep Wrangler and give my side of the story. I am Dave and I own Platte Valley Auto Sales. To put it in a nutshell....we delivered the vehicle to an agreed upon place where Jared inspected the vehicle and drove it and accepted the vehicle in an as-is sale. Even though it was sold as-is I agreed to make repairs after the sale to "do the right thing" what Jared doesn't tell is that he cancelled his $800, dollar check for transportation and was also getting my credit card for his repairs and had no intention of "doing the right thing". The day I was giving him my card to pay for repairs I got a call from my bank about a stop payment check that was depositied and it was Jared's. So I did not pay for his repairs on his "as-is, inspected by him jeep". I had every intent to do so even though it was sold as-is until that was brought to my attention. His reply back to me was that he didnt think I would do what I said and cancelled the check. Truth..
