Merchants Urged To Check IDs From Shoppers Who Use Credit Cards

With the amount of credit card fraud that takes place on a daily basis, a simple ID check by merchants can help prevent credit card fraud. One local television station did an undercover story and found that four out of five stores did not ask a female customer for any ID when using a credit card with the name of Steve on it.
