Planet Beach Contempo Spa

PB shut down 1/2/2010 and did not give notice to members and did charge for January. I however am not an employee or a friend and I can honestly say I enjoyed every visit!!! I had the opportunity to try out all the spa services for a week FREE and did purchase certain items at FULL PRICE since I was not a member yet. The service I received was NOT PUSHY and understanding to my needs. Please realize EACH PB is independently owned franchise so if you are trying to seek reimbursement contact your bank and your bank will be able to dispute charges to your account with them directly.

Tried this place out, the lady was pushy, but thought it was a good deal. 20 days later tried to cancel and she wouldn't let me, then said ok and charged me $50 to cancel. EVEN THOUGH they have a 30 day cancellation policy. THEN 4 days after that, they shut down completely! These reviews are so obviously written by friends and employees. NO salon or spa in Austin goes months with 'great reviews' then shuts down! OH and when i tried to get a refund, now that they are shut down and tried to get as much money from me as possible and the corporate PB wont help at all! They just tell me to get the refund from the location. HOW CAN I!? They don't even answer the phone and there's no voice mail? PB is ridiculous in it's entirety. I now know why they shut down, too bad it was AFTER they took my money! (oh and they tried to charge a membership fee for January even though they shut down 1/2/10. RIDICULOUS!

I absolutely love Planet Beach. I've been a member for 2 months. I honestly can say it has changed my life. I come in 3 times a week at least. If possible I'll be there 4 or 5. I can't hydrate enough. I love that I get so many complements on my skin now. I sometimes stop and think "wow I'm so soft!" I can't stop touching my skin. It's great and can't get enough.
