Permian Glass Company

I called Statefarm to have a rock damaged windshield replaced, they responded by contacting what use to be a reputable glass company. The events that followed indicate the misfortune for the founder as I am sure it is on the decline. The locally recognized business will suffer from the emerging deceitful and inconsiderate new strategy. An accurate appointment was problematic. The workmanship was incredulous. A deceitful cover up of obvious damage incurred during the replacement was uncovered as the black rubber windshield sealant tape let go with the first freeze. The plastic molding hung discordantly from the underside of the windshield. When I asked for an audience with a manager, there was NO consideration, and unfortunately a blind condoning of poor workmanship. He hung up on me. The most revealing comment in this review: On 12/07/2010 iys BBB CASE CLOSED - UNANSWERED: Permian Glass Owner Shannon has asked the BBB DO NOT CONTACT HIM in any way. Case will be closed unanswered.

The dealings we have had with this company was terrible. They told him one price and then raised the price when job was finished. They could not produce parts that came off vehicle, when ask to veiw. After a long debate the vehicle was locked up in their building and the police department had to be called to retrieve vehicle. This was the worst injustice, witnessed to the elderly, Ive ever seen......

Co-owner Silvia Gaylor misrepresented product and installed a non-factory windshield and refused to admit she had decieved me. Very cocky and abusive to customer (me), wouldn't even give the fax number. Not a member of the Chamber of Commerce nor of Better Business Bureau where there are several unanswered complaints from years back. Wish I had done my homework so guess I have nobody to blame but myself but BEWARE.
