Penn Yan Sewing Machines

I totally agree with previous review. LeRoy (Mr. Sensenig) and his family are so accommodating I too called ahead and upon arrival they took my machine right in. Literally within 10 minutes LeRoy brought the machine out and said the ohms on my foot pedal was reversed and could of caused the machine to sew at random. LeRoy said this was a common problem with Janome and suggested purchasing a battery back up surge protector. LeRoy explained this was caused by a power outage or brown out. So simple to fix and only charged me $5.00! I The drive from Albion was worth it! Worth it is an understatement.....After 1 year of purchasing a $1200 Janome from a shop in Lockport the machine would start sewing at random and not stop when I took my foot off the pedal. I called the Lockport shop and was told my warranty was up and to bring it in for tune up. The shop said they d never heard of such a thing and asked if I was sure my foot was off the pedal. $125 later I was told there was

Repairs are always well done at reasonable prices. Generally, the turn around time is short. Mr. Sensenig and his staff are pleasant to work with.
