Dave & Sarah and their employees are really great! They have everything anybody needs for the locals as well as for the hunters & fishermen that stop in. They have a great variety of gifts and they support their local community, kids, schools and sponsor "The Hunt of a Lifetime" and a youth ice fishing day every year. No matter the season, summer, hunting or ice fishing, Sarah and Dave great you with a smile and ready to serve. My daughter and I enjoy stopping in to pick up or supplies for our hunting or fishing trips because Northstar Variety makes every customer feel as important as the last one that walked in the door. This family business just added the icing to my cake following my first and quite successful Moose Hunt! They went the extra mile to make the end of my hunting venture a complete success. They ofered to take pictures of my son and I while the moose was still hanging at the weigh station and after I purchased the ice to cool the body down to prevent spoilage they just went ahead and filled the cavity and never missed a beat. I will definitely be returning and giving them my business on my many visits to their part of "the county" !!! Thank you, P. J.
