Reviews about McMillan's Bakery
To the owner of McMillans Bakery. Would appreciate an immediate reply.
On 2/25/15 I came into the bakery and purchased a pecan cinnamon bun danish ring. I also ordered 2 walnut cinnamon bun danish rings to p/u on Sunday. Have company coming Mon.nite, and you are closed on Monday. This way I would have a dessert we all like. They were p/u,unopened and put into the refrigerator until Monday. When I opened the boxes
they were NOT what had ordered. Instead of honey and walnuts, you gave me individual buns in the shape of a round cake, with walnuts scattered on it, and white icing drizzled over it. If you ran out of honey topping, you should have contacted me. I am not happy and would appreciate you contacting me. BARBARA KRAMAR,856-456-3485.
Poor Customer Service
Unfortunately, you can have the best product in the world, but if your customer service sucks I will not patronize you. I have only tried cupcakes from there. They were fine...not awesome, not wonderful, not amazing, just...okay. The main issue I had was that everyone seemed grumpy, no one smiled, and they seemed to all have attitudes. I thought it was because I am a person of color, but based on the other lackluster reviews on their customer service, I am relieved to know that it had nothing to do with me and everything to do with them just having poor customer service skills. If you want awesome cupcakes AND great customer service, check out DiBartolo's bakery in Collingswood. It is on the same street as McMillans but a couple of blocks down. Their buttercream frosting is to die for and the prices are great.

Our families' favorite for 50 years or more. We've never been disappointed with any purchase. They've been there for the happiest events and some of the saddest too. Price doesn't matter to us when we find an awesome product. We will be at the counter every week enjoying the best in baked goods, and feeling so grateful for a bakery that still believes in quality.
