Honest People - Thank you!!

I have a Big Dodge One Ton Dually 4x4 Cummins Diesel automatic trans. My brake light was on, my odometer and speed-ometer did not work, and my auto. trans. would not shift out of 1st gear. I went around talking to different Transmission Shops, and they basicly all said the same thing,, big bucks to fix. My Son recommended LongHorn,, so I went and talked with Bobby Morgan, he was the only person that said,, well ,, there might not be anything wrong with your transmission at all.. I had my Big Dodge towed in to LongHorn..,., and within 2 hours Bobby's great mechanics figured out what was wrong,,, and then Bobby called me and told me exactly what was wrong and exactly how much it would cost AND there was nothing wrong with the transmission. When I went to pick up my truck, the brake light was off, the odometer and speedometer was working, and the transmission was shifting perfect,, and here's the good part,, they got all that working for $200.46. WOW, now that's awesome. I will always from now on,, only bring my vehicles to LongHorn Transmission. Thank you Bobby!!!!

Transmission Rock-stars!

This place is awesome. They told me the price before they started the work and when it would be done. They were on time and the price didn't change. (Had opposite experience with other mechanics in the past) \t\n\t\nThe guys working in there were knowledgable and polite. I hope to never need to rebuild a transmission again, but if I do I will go there. :)

total disregard for my property

My transmission had been slipping for a few weeks. So I took my Jeep Grand Cherokee to Longhorn transmission , on 02/26/09. "Give us a few hours and we will call you" Is what I was told , Thats fine. I was called as promised , by the mechanic .He told me that he had driven the vehicle and couldn't really notice anything, and asked me what the problem was !! A few hours later , get a call "Transmission is totally gone, it will have to be rebuilt " . I reminded the manager that called me ,that I drove the vehicle to his business !!! " Yeah well sometimes it just happens, could be working one minute , then stop the next" . I told him ok then go ahead and do the work. Saturday I drove by Longhorn transmission (around 6:45 pm ) and noticed my Jeep outside. I turned around and went back to see why. And there is my vehicle sitting outside next to a bar with the windows rolled down (electric windows ) and the keyes in the ignition.....They are closed Saturday and Sunday . The transmission is out of the vehicle, the key is stuck in the ignition and will not turn or come out . The battery had been disconnected (no power to roll up windows or lock doors) . So I call the only # listed for them , no answer , no machine , nothing.... So all weekend my vehicle sat outside open to the public . I called Cedar Park Police department , and took several photos... Giving them one star , was being very kind... I don't recommend this company to anyone.. I will post any updates ..
