Les Petits Cherubs

I grabbed my son and dashed for the door the minute I saw a child being changed on the bathroom floor. He's had a mysterious skin ailment since ending there. Correlation is not causation but I'll always be suspicious. That said, son seemed to have a great time there... Oh, and it always smelled odd.

This has to be the worst daycare I have come across. There is no changing table downstairs for the younger toddlers so they have to be changed either on the floor or on a cot! The infant room apperars to be clean but it's dirty! The rugs have not been cleaned in god knows when and the toys are filthy. Half the time there are no supplies paper towels, gloves, toilet paper, and even food for the children to eat! The kids get changed using food gloves not the regualr gloves you are suppose to use when changing a child! The kids, oh the poor kids and what they are fed. Example, dry cereal in the morning and water. For lunch pita bread and tomatoes, for snack pretzels. SMGDH!!! These kids are starved in this daycare I have never in my life been to a daycare and the kids are crying due to hungerness. How this daycare got another KEYSTONE star is beyond me! If your children are inside this daycare please dont take the director word that your child is doing fine. They are starved!!

I love this daycare! My 11-month old son has been going to the East Falls campus on Henry Ave. for 6 months, 5 days/week and couldn't be happier. The director is wonderful and the staff is so friendly and experienced. They work with the infants and my son has learned so much in a short time. They have a policy to always soothe the babies and pick them up if they are upset or crying. LPC has become a second family and I look forward to dropping off and picking up my son so I can interact with the teachers and director. I can not say enough about how loving and caring the people are here. We get daily, detailed reports on the children and the staff is always looking to personalize the care they give each child. My son is always smiling when we pick him up and takes off to play with his friends when we drop him off. I HIGHLY recommend Les Petits Cherubs (I can only speak to the EF campus) for anyone looking for a clean, loving environment. We can tell the staff truly love our son. We had a bad experience at another local daycare and quickly pulled our son out. I had trouble finding reviews of child care facilities in the Manayunk area so I'm hoping this review will help other parents make a good decision for their children.
