Legacy Gardens

I forgot to rank: 2 out of 5 stars. The landscaping and paver job does make the front of the house look better than before, especially to casual inspection. But I would shop around much more than I did before selecting a company.

I used the young man that Andy recommended to do a paver job preceding the landscaping. He turned out to be something of a hustler, telling me he would do the job for cost and all he wanted was to get into the neighborhood for business. He did not do the job as we agreed to do it and did not do all the work properly. During the job he decided to remove the threshold at the front door: whereas before I had several inches and could place a doormat there, now the front porch would be the same level at the bottom of the door. This, he said, was necessitated by the thickness of the pavers. But he should have told me this before when I selected the pavers. The grout is now pocked. Half the expensive spartan junipers died from spider mites, and I had to replace them on my own. This problem is well known and no one carries them for that reason. Legacy did supply me with a new azalea after one died. Al the work was done in haste. Overall a bad experience. Would not recommend.
