I guess when you start with the world's largest collection of ancient doors and carved gates from all over the world, it's not as surprising as it is to a lay person just how creative and surprising and downright beautiful new doors, cabinets, counters, tables, chairs can be. They're all made by hand, after thoughtfully listening to you, with non-toxic, sustainable techniques. While I'm sure you can buy ready-made stuff from La Puerta, it's by far more satisfying to work with them on something designed just for you and your home -- colors, textures, shape, size, character, function...It's all part of the package!
