Golden Eagle Country Store

The food was exxcellent. On this particular day there was a high water special. Gotta love when the rivers go up. I had the Cheeseburger basket. It was a huge burger. Everything that was hot was hot and everything that was supposed to be cold was. I had more than enough fries to go with my massive burger. Then i was offered a phosphorus soda, given the flavors to choose from. I am a vanilla fan. It was so good! No it was excellent. The girls were great there, Carie and Renee, THank for for an awesome time. I will be back soon. The girls were friendly and vey knowledgeable of their mune. Very freidnly and talkative just like im used to. Again i thank you for wonderful thime and wish you all the best of luck! The Golden Eagle Country Store ws by far that refreshing down home country feel with great food and even bettter service! Thanks Again.

wOW...What a treat for the eyes and appetite! Just found this wonderful place by accident. The Golden Eagle Country Store has been closed for some time and it is great to see it open again and with such nostalgic appeal! Great food, old fashioned friendly staff and lots of wonderful things to take you back to bygone times when life was simple and people were sincere and friendly and eager to have you visit their place of business. Do make it a point to visit at your earliest convenience...Peaches are in right now in Calhoun County...go get some!!!! Rich and Lori and everyone at Golden Eagle will be so glad to see you. Try some hmemade ice cream (Gelato) too!!! We were so glad to have discovered this jewel of a place..
