Fox and Friends Animal Hospital

Just picked up our dog from an 8 day boarding. Our dog is a patient and has boarded with them previously. We noticed upon review of our bill that additional charges had been added. The charges were refunded after we questioned them. We checked the food that we provided for our dog and less than half of the food had been fed to our dog. Detailed printed instructions were provided with the food along with an extra copy for their file. The doctor's comment that troubled us the most was "Your dog is not my responsibility!"
We trusted them to feed our dog adequately and bill us with a reasonable and accurate fee. They failed and did not try to do anything to regain our trust. We just moved here a year ago, and now we have to start looking for another vet!

My Min Pin has been going to Fox and Friends now for 3 years. They came as a recommendation from a co worker because I had moved to Parrish and needed a new vet and boarding. I found the rates to be very reasonable compared to what I paid in St Petersburg. I always felt I was over charged at Noah Place in Pinellas County. I was very pleased with my bill and there were never any surprises. Only one time there was a discrepancy on my bill because they inadvertently charged me for a Hillsborough Rabies tag instead of a Manatee tag. When I questioned, they quickly verified my charges and had my new tag ready for pick up as well as a credit on my account. The staff is friendly and Dr is great. He genuinely has his animal friends best interest at hand .

How in the world is sending your animal to an emergency clinic supposed to save you money and your pet from needing a dangerous surgical procedure?!?! Referring your animal to FVS or TBVS (although respectable businesses) is almost certainly because your pet needs extensive surgery and attention, therefore also raising the bill. Dr Fox is a great veterinarian who consistently keeps the animals health his No.1 priority. And as far as Katherine's overcharging comment. Fox and Friends did not become a successful practice buy springing unverified charges on their customers. I would like you to post the "suspicious" charges that brought your bill from $69 to $165 and < $200 to almost $500.
