Extremely poor service and an ant in my "top shelf" margarita. Manager did not seem ot care about the lack...

Senor Sol has jumped the shark

When Senor Sol came to Centennial, I thought that I was back in Phoenix in the 70's. The food tasted like the places my Chicano buddy would take me through the back screen door into the kitchen to experience some of the best Mexican food I ever had. Sadly, Senor Sol has recently "jumped the shark" - the first clue was the menu change about 6 months ago. Secondly was the dumbing down of the dishes themselves - the 4 burrito sampler was changed to a 3 burrito sampler. The final straw was last night when we saw cooked CELERY in the burritos, TOMATOES within the flautas, and, incredibly, a green bean (yes, a Blue Lake-er) in the shredded lettuce served on the side. A favorite spot has now become just another ho-hum disappointment.

Dont waste your time or money on bad service and food

Stopped in on a Thursday afternoon. Only about three other tables were dining in and about six employees total. Three serving tables. They were quick to seat us, and take our drink order, when we asked for another few minutes to decide, he didnt come back for about 15 minutes. Finally we placed our order and the food was slow to come out to us and not very good. Below average at best. We continued to eat, but the service was really the weak point at this restaurant. After finishing our meal, I went up to the register to pay where a female worker was busy wrapping tableware in napkins about two feet to the left of the register, as I waited for someone to approach me to ring me up, she continued to wrap for about four minutes without even acknowledging me. "Ok", I thought, she must not have the authority to ring someone up so I continued to wait, about thirty seconds later a young gentleman approached me and asked if I was being helped. I told him that we needed to pay our ticket. Just then the girl who was wrapping jumped in front of him and said "I've got it." I couldn't believe this whole time this rude worker (the girl with the long glitter fingernails, you know who you are!) couldnt even acknowledge me with a "be right with you" greeting. I just about lost it and it took a lot for me to bite my tongue and not start a scene. I paid the bill and walked out of there knowing that I will never be back and I will definitely make it a point to tell people about the horrible service this place has. I am also going to call the management and let them know of our terrible service. In my opinion, I would recommend staying very far away from this place. I would have rated this 0 stars if they allowed it.
