Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Atlanta Airport South, GA

There is no longer a Travelodge at this location. It is now Country Inn & Suites, Airport South. The address is also listed on Phoenix Blvd when it actually is facing West Fayetteville Road.

I am surprised to see that there are no reviews posted for this hotel. I was just browsing looking at reviews or restaurants and hotels and thought it would be fun to look this one up, as I am a former employee of this location 1808 Phoenix Blvd, College Park, GA. \t\nI have seen and worked here, through many different flags this hotel has owned, and I thought I would be there forever. I had worked my way up from housekeeping to front desk management. Unfortunately, I got the "boot" from the newest GM and owner. He has the right to keep whichever employees he wants, but I feel I was unfairly terminated. Oh well.\t\nI am so dissapointed that the place is going down hill. I don't understand why there is no money invested to make improvements to this prime airport location. The hotel is airport convenient and could do a much better business if advertised properly.\t\nMuch of the main stream staff is now gone, either terminated or went to better horizons. There still are a very few good employees left that do take pride in giving good customer service to their guests. But so much has changed and unfortunately, not for the better.\t\nIf you are looking for a location close to the airport, reasonably priced for its location, then this is a possible choice. But for my money, I would recommend staying at Country Inn & Suites North for a more updated decor and cleanliness.
