Cornerstone Academy

My name is Lakeisha Brown and I am honored to be the new Director of Cornerstone Academy II. I am a resident of Augusta, Georgia but I am originally from Michigan. I graduated from Augusta State University with a Bachelors Degree and I am currently working on my Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education.

Children have been part of my life for over 10 years. I have had the opportunity to work with so many different populations of children and professionals in the field of Education and Childcare. I have worked as an Education Specialist, Site Director, Camp Director and Program Director. I am a continuous learner and I have made a pledge to myself to continue to work with children and parents in the hopes to meet the needs of the family as whole.

The staff and service is excellent at Cornerstone Academy. The facility is clean and well organized and the cirriculum is also excellent. The faciliy is a close stop from Washington Road which makes it so easy to enter both in the mornings and afternoons. The other daycares are often dirty and has traffic access problems. I cannot think of a better daycare for children for Martinez, Evans, or Augusta!!!!
