Last year we made the mistake of ordering some seed online from one of those discount catalogs. Much of that seed never came up and some plants grew but produced nothing. The leftover corn seed we bought at Cordell Farm the year before produced far better than any of the seed bought online! This year we bought plants AND seed from Cordell. We bought plants there last year and they did great. Be sure to ask if you don't see the plants you want - I didn't find the yellow tomatoes I wanted right off (because they had so many) but they knew right where they were. They even had two heirloom tomato varieties this year! It is too late this year but they also have excellent seed potatoes - especially the new potatoes. We also buy chicken and horse feed there and they sell chicks and pet and bird supplies and feeds.
